Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups of brown sugar
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 cup Moura PDO Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 dessertspoon of Royal Powder
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup walnut kernels
- 3 cups of flour
- Slivered almonds to taste
- Blueberries to taste
- 1 glass of brandy or liqueur wine
Preparation:
- Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the milk and stir in, then add the Moura DOP Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and stir in. Add a glass of brandy or liqueur wine.
- Add the cinnamon and mix well. Add the flour and Royal powder.
- Add the chopped apple, half the chopped walnuts and slivered almonds.
- When you have a homogeneous mixture, pour the dough into a baking tray previously greased with butter and dusted with flour.
- Place the remaining walnuts in halves on top of the pastry and blueberries to taste.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 190º for about 40 minutes and don't forget to test the toothpick.
