Caramel cake

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup Moura PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 cups of flour with yeast
  • 2 cups burnt sugar

Preparation:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, in the order indicated, without separating the yolk from the white, stirring until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Grease the pan with Azeite de Moura and sprinkle with flour
  3. Bake in the preheated oven, but don't overcook it so that it becomes moist and the burnt sugar melts inside the cake.
