We are guardians of the national olive oil, cultural and environmental heritage. From purely family farms to large-scale corporate farms, from centuries-old traditional olive groves to modern olive groves, we rely on the ancestral knowledge of our olive growers and employees to bring you the best and purest olive oil: Azeite de Moura.

• Genuineness

It is in the origin that we distinguish ourselves. We have inherited centuries-old olive trees and the art of obtaining the best olive juice, and we are committed to innovation and technology, from the field to the mill, to guarantee the best quality. Our olive oil is produced exclusively in the region of Moura and Barrancos, from the olive groves of our partners.

• Dedication

We are the largest olive oil production cooperative in Portugal, with 4,000 members, 1,300 of whom are olive growers. We extract our olive oils in one of the most modern mills in the country, taking great care to obtain the best olive juice. Our employees ensure that the entire production process - from the mill to the packaging - bears the Cooperativa de Moura seal of quality.

• Confidence

Azeite de Moura was the first olive oil with a Protected Designation of Origin in Portugal. The quality of the production is recognized nationally and internationally, with awards including the Gold Medal in the prestigious Mario Solinas competition, the Flavour of the Year award, the Gold Medal in the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition and hundreds of medals in national competitions.
